Tuk Tuk, Edinburgh’s bold and vibrant Indian street food restaurant launched its second site in Glasgow in January. Following the success of its Edinburgh restaurant, Tuk Tuk has brought its unique brand of Indian street food to Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street. Named after the three-wheeled rickshaws of Asia, Tuk Tuk is bursting with the colours, sounds and smells reminiscent of modern India. An all-day dining experience, Tuk Tuk will be serving up authentic lunch time Tiffin set lunch boxes for those on the go, and in the evening, sharing dishes will be the order of the day.
Inspired by the fresh, rustic food served at the roadside and railway stations across India to travellers, school children, rickshaw-wallahs and busy office workers Tuk Tuk has revamped its menu especially for the people of Glasgow. New additions to the menu include Puri yoghurt bombs and a range of popular Indian drinks such as Mint mambo and Lassis in flavours such as mango, coconut, lychee, sweet or salted. The restaurant will still be serving up its much loved street food classics; Bhel puri, Biryani and Daal makhni. The restaurant is also BYOB and will offer takeaway and a delivery service.
